DEAD

Wake the F**k Up, It’s Dial Time

COLD CALLING ISN’T BROKEN. YOU’RE JUST NOT F*CKING DOING ENOUGH.

I’ll die on this hill. I’ll scream it into the void until my lungs give out….and post it on LinkedIn for some virtue signalling obviously

Cold calling works. You just aren’t doing enough of it. Yeah — I SEE YOU Samwise.

I got lost for a bit.

Lost in the tech. Lost in the “flow”. Lost in the f*cking fairy tale that some sequence, some AI, or some SDR “enablement” tool was going to save me, it hasn’t

Please don’t make the same mistakes and $1,000’s of dollars spent.

When did we all get soft. We became scared of rejection. We dressed it up with ABM, enrichment tools, AI agents, intent signals… And called it strategy.

🖕 That.

It’s noise.

Man I need a holiday (Spain tomorrow)

BUT when I am back I will be Dial-hardened. Unfiltered. And focused.

DealTechno is helping a couple of you hire for a few roles and the chat from managers is predictable: “Inbound or outbound?” “Do we go ABM?” “Should we try AI agents?”

My honest answer: Your outbound isn’t working because no one’s doing the work.

💥 What’s working:
- Parallel Diallers. If your reps are manually dialling 20 a day they are speaking to 0 people a day.

We’re smashing out 50+ dials an hour. Tools help, but it’s the reps that matter.

My go-to?
3–2–10.
Three hours, two blocks, 10 connects. Low tech, high intent. Pen, paper, and phone.

Don’t Worry About “Burning Your TAM.”
If someone says no? Great. Cross ‘em off. Move on. Build your pipeline and come back to them another day.

Forget Perfection → Say it clunky, then say it better tomorrow.

Track Activity:
You don’t need Salesforce dashboards.
Pen and paper or a google sheet will do you.

  • Dials per rep

  • Connects per hour

  • New opps FROM calls (not just demos)

If your team isn’t producing pipeline from cold calls, it’s not the f*cking script. It’s the VOLUME.

Need a script? Want to see what’s ACTUALLY getting Legal Ops and GCs to pick up?

Ping me and I will even put a video together.

(We have to send it direct because Outlook blocks it — thanks for that, Microsoft.)

Much Love.
