It is a very sad day… my Fiesta ST has done its last wheel spin 😢

One thing I’ve learnt is this: don’t spend good money after bad.

Yes, I could fix the engine… but then what? What goes next? And let’s be honest, the car isn’t worth much to begin with.

So… what do you do?!

You step back and look at the bigger picture.

And this is exactly the same with your career (Rob for the segue win!!)

So many people stay in roles, companies, or even entire professions because they’ve “already invested so much time”. They keep fixing the engine, hoping this repair will be the one that makes it worth it again.

But if the fundamentals are broken
- no progression
- no learning
- no energy
- no upside

Sometimes the smartest move isn’t another repair. It’s a reset.

New direction. New platform. New upside.

Sunk cost is sunk cost whether it’s a car or a career.

So if you are thinking fuuu not another day of this… don’t be like my fiesta and give us a shout.
