Lambo
What a written-off Lambo taught me about LegalTech content

Like many of you, I’ve got a YouTube addiction.
Not the “TED Talk at 2am” type.
Nah — I’m deep in Car Rebuild YouTube.
Right now, I’m OBSESSED with a bloke called Matt Armstrong (Google him)
He buys smashed-up Lambos and rebuilds them, and somehow, the geezer pulls
3 million views in 12 hours.
But here’s the kicker...
It’s not just the cars or how many tattoos this guy has
It’s art.
He’s got:
✅ Story arcs that keep you hooked
✅ Thumbnails with punch
✅ Move quality camera angles
✅ Perfect lighting
✅ Tension, drama, the lot
That ain’t luck. That’s graft.
That’s storytelling.
That’s structure and sweat.
So obviously, my brain goes off the rails again:
“Could LegalTech content ever get that kind of love?”
“Could we pull those numbers?”
Honestly? Doubt it.
But here’s what I do know:
We all feel the pressure.
We scroll LinkedIn, see some waffle about AI and ops, and think:
“Fuuuu I should post something.”
Then the panic sets in:
What do I say?
Who even cares?
And why does this feel like homework?
Same with podcasts - I don’t listen to them.
Not the Legal ones, anyway.
I already work in LegalTech — I don’t need to hear about it in the gym
And the real issue?
All LegalTech content is currently built upsidedown
Start with “what we do”.
Start with a suit.
Start seriously.
But the stuff that works?
It starts with people.
It starts with something fun.
It grabs your attention, then it brings in the business.
Matt starts with a bent Lambo.
Not a sales funnel.
That’s why it works.
So what’s the point of this rant?
It’s simple:
If content feels like a chore, it’s not you.
It’s the format.
It’s the faff.
It’s the beige tone.
So yeah…I’m half tempted to start a LegalTech Social Agency.
You lot send us a voice note.
A WhatsApp ramble. A drunk voice memo at your mate’s BBQ.
We turn it into actual content.
In your voice.
With a proper hook.
And no stress.
We’ll make it look like you’re Matt Armstrong, but with SaaS instead of suspension rebuilds.
And we’ll do it under the DealTechno banner.
Because if we’re gonna talk about this space, let’s at least make it interesting.
Oh — and if you’re stuck hiring?
Still got you covered.
