It was great spending time with you in Miami back in December.
Over the past few months, I’ve spoken with enough LegalTech leaders to notice a shared sense of frustration — sales cycles feel broken, tech stacks are bloated, and old lead gen playbooks just aren’t cutting it anymore.
Take my current stack as an example:
CLAY (Wait, what’s CLAY? Exactly.)
Apollo (The data quality has dropped off a cliff.)
HubSpot (We’re not getting anywhere near the value we should.)
ChatGPT (Super useful for ICPs, messaging, and idea validation.)
LinkedIn Premium (Honestly? Save your money. I’ll explain why soon.)
That’s a lot of spend — and sometimes I just miss the days of a phone and a notepad.
There are good communities out there like Pavilion, but when your buyers are 20-year tenured GCs or law firm partners with zero interest in funnel strategy and just want to get back in the Porsche… the usual advice falls flat.
That’s why I’m pivoting this into a short, sharp newsletter — focused entirely on what’s actually working in LegalTech sales right now.
With that, a new name: LexFuel.
Domains and formats will shift, but before anything changes, I wanted to give you a chance to opt out if this isn’t your thing — no hard feelings at all.
